Comprehensive housing reform in Granada

Comprehensive reform of a house, located in the heart of the city of Granada. Apartment with three bedrooms, living room, kitchen and a bathroom, all in just 50 m2.
The goal: to achieve a loft-type home.
The result is this cozy renovated house, with two bedrooms, two bathrooms and a living room with an integrated kitchen. All exterior, including wet rooms.
The process was a continuous discovery of the potential of the property. A rehabilitation treated with care, with an incredible combination of the most current techniques with the recovery and enhancement of the traditional ones; it meant a direct action in the recovery of both vertical pavements, solid ceramic brick, and in the structure of the house with vaulted interbeams. We expand spaces, replacing load-bearing walls with a metal structure, combining the most current techniques in microcement in kitchens and bathrooms, with the hydraulic tile of the last century. The decorated hydraulic tile flooring can be completed with an extraordinary mosaic of warm colors and geometries; recovered from an old demolition. The warmth of the house was achieved thanks to the combination of city gas and extraordinary old iron radiators, acquired for this project.
